Modern Machinery is a proud part of the Washington Companies, with a portion of our profits supporting The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation.

The revenues generated and employment opportunities created by Modern Machinery contribute significantly to the local and state economy through wages and taxes paid, purchases made locally and philanthropic donations. We take seriously our corporate responsibility to give back to the communities in which we live.

In addition to our corporate giving, the major philanthropic arm of the Washington Companies, which include Modern Machinery, is the Dennis & Phyllis Washington Foundation. Since its inception, Foundation giving and the Washington Family's personal contributions to charitable causes total more than $130 million. Grants are awarded in the areas of: Arts & Culture, Community Service, Education and Health & Human Services. Primary beneficiaries of Foundation grants are financially needy youth seeking to attend higher education and direct-service nonprofit organizations that serve economically and socially disadvantaged individuals and their families.
